Twice as nice: a Copenhagen story

Reputed to be the happiest city in the world, the Danish capital of Copenhagen is famous for its canals, excellent food and community spirit. And it’s where Wrap model Laura Julie calls home.

With overseas travel to photoshoots still off the agenda, it was time for a different approach. A suitcase of styles from this season’s collection made the trip to the city, and instead of her usual place in front of the camera, Laura Julie took a turn behind it. Her brief? Capture the spirit of her friends and fellow models, twins Amalie and Cecilie, using their picturesque hometown as the backdrop to the shoot.

Mixing it up with street scenes and apartment interiors, Laura Julie shot these relaxed images of Amalie and Cecilie enjoying the feel of breezy cotton, lightweight linen and indigo blue denim in styles just right for now.

Copenhagen is also famous for being the city of fairy tales. But you don’t have to believe in fairies to enjoy this story about the magic of friends and family together in a place that they love.
